Advanced Tele-Genetic Counseling
Elizabeth Turner, MS, CGC is the cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Tele-Genetic Counseling (AT-GC), and a certified genetic counselor.
Elizabeth’s core vision is dedicated to increasing access to patient care and delivering expertise in the increasingly complex world of personalized genomics. Elizabeth cofounded AT-GC in the belief that genetic counseling should be easily accessible for all. Her first-hand knowledge that genetic counseling remains widely inaccessible to large segments of both urban and rural populations led to her desire to help practices and patients find the genetics support they deserve, and is the reason Elizabeth became a genetic counselor. With a genetic counseling colleague, Elizabeth began Advanced Tele-Genetic Counseling in 2016. From here, the idea grew into the woman-owned and managed telehealth practice that AT-GC is today.
A major proponent of healthy lifestyle practices, it is Elizabeth’s hope that her team’s work encourages individuals to use the knowledge gained through the understanding of their genetic information to support personal wellbeing.
Elizabeth has practiced in the areas of oncology, pediatrics, reproductive health, and general genetics, and hold a current certification from the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
